The customer service is outstanding. Night and morning staff are top notch. They went above and beyond to make sure our room accommodations were meeting our expectations. Great views from the River Tower #3324. Even though there isn't food directly on-site everything is conveniently across or adjacent to the property. You're easily able to walk to main attractions. We were given dining recommendations, went to Sun Diner, highly recommend the food delicious
“My Go To Hotel”
This is my second trip to the River Terrace Resort in the past 3 months and I have to say both stays were absolutely perfect. To start, everyone at the front were extremely professional, helpful and polite. I had made special requests on both stays and they were able to accommodate them. The hotel is one of Gatlinburg's older hotels but has been renovated very nicely with high quality beds, pillows and plenty of towels. And I must say the rooms are huge, twice the size of the newer hotels. The location is ideal, I only took my car out once. Everything is within walking distance. This is definitely my go to hotel for future stays.
“Weekend getaway”
We have stayed at this location in the past and have always enjoyed our stay. This trip we decided to take a gamble with Hotwire and were happy to find our assigned hotel was River Terrace Resort. Check in was a breeze and Donna H. was wonderful. She checked in with us periodically throughout our stay to see how we were doing. Amazing customer service. We were happy to get a large room with a beautiful mountain view. The bed was comfortable , room was clean , the room came with a microwave and mini fridge. Everything is within walking range to the hotel. There is a heated pool and a regular pool which is nice. We will defiantly be staying here again in the future.
