"WOW"

A 1600 room hotel on the Mississippi that has excellent service. Comfortable, clean rooms. The riverfront trolley is just outside the door. Across from the casino. We called room service for breakfast. Quick delivery, cordial, plentiful, etc. A special compliment goes to Sylvia at the concierge desk. Extremely knowlegable. Friendly is an understatement. She is a wealth of knowledge for both those who are first time visitors and the frequent visitors. Stop and say "hi" to her whether you need her services or not.

"Great location nice facility"

The hotel is located within walking distance of the French quarter and fitness center was great. Make sure you get a river view with your room. Overall one of the better hotels I have stayed in lately.

"Excellent service staff and hotel"

Well our stay started off very well. After being told there were no river view rooms available we asked again, very nicely, and the wonderful front desk gentleman put us right in the river view room we desired! I believe his name was Harakaran? (Sorry if I misspelled it). Perhaps my Hilton Honors standing helped. Contrary to other reviews we had no problem finding our way around, (although it IS a very large hotel). The room was clean, the beds were very very comfortable, our beds were made every day and the towels were replenshied as well as toiletries. We had a light breakfast downstairs which was great, and the wait staff was very polite. Everyone seemed to be smiling. William at the bar was great! Thanks for the string beans William! We were attending a convention and it is very close to the convention center, and if you don't want to walk you can take the street car that stops right at the hotel! I wished the French Quarter were a little bit closer but it really isn't that far. Be sure to take the street car out front to Cafe Du Monde for Beignets and latte..

"Service and comfortable rooms mean a wonderful stay"

We expect the rooms at a Hilton will be comfortable, welcoming, and have all the conveniences of a superb hotel. We were not disappointed. What stands out, even more than the excellent accommodations were several staff members who demonstrated a commitment to our needs, well beyond what we might reasonably have expected. Chris, the bell man, Debra in the breakfast restaurant were two outstanding examples of the quality service that made a great hotel truly wonderful.

"Very nice property and location"

The hotel is very nice and in an idea location. Our room was very nice and clean with plenty of room. Beds were very comfy too. The staff was very helpful with check in and valet service. They were quick and very nice. I really enjoyed my stay at the Hilton in New Orleans.

"Sci-Fi Convention New Orleans, Louisiana"

A family affair and excellent stay at the Hilton, New Orleans, Louisiana @ the Riverwalk, we had an excellent convention and professional service at this Hilton Hotel and our exit was just as smooth. We were there to attend an Anime Convention sponsored out of Japan. The meeting rooms were large and spacious and the accommodations just as comfy. Large lounge ares to rest and easy access to the Spanish Plaza and River-walk Shopping area downtown New Orleans CBD= Central Business District. The family had an enjoyable stay.

"Perfect Spot"

Stayed in Aug..just before Isaac hit. This hotel is close to it all.. It is connected to the River Walk area, which has the greatest shops and food along the busy port of New Orleans. Just watching the river traffic was fun. The hotel is excellent and the staff very good. The trolley is right out the door and it goes often. GREAT TRIP

"Great Location. Nice Clean Rooms"

We stayed for four nights in August. The room we stayed in was over the pool with a view of the river. We didn't spend much time on the property as we were out and about but the bed was comfortable. Great location, within walking distance to Canal St. and the Quarter. THe front desk staff wasn't especially friendly but we checked in with ease. The Bell service was excellent and even teh attendant hollered for the last cab in view as we were getting to the airport for the last flight before Issac. This was a planned departure time so we enjoyed our full visit.

"Excellent location and view"

We were very pleased with our recent stay. We were on the 27th floor and had a wonderful view of the river. Watching all the ship traffic was a nice change of pace from the busy French Quarter. We would choose this hotel again. Usually we stay in the heart of the Quarter, but really enjoyed the views and the service we recieved. Our room was one that had not been updated yet, but was still very nice. We had one small problem, and the staff quickly made up for it. Even recieved a call and email from management. Couldn't ask for any better service than that. It is located at the base of both trolly lines, so very easy to get around the city, and an easy walk to the Quarters.

"Hotel Stay"

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Great location as well! Great choice of resurants as well. Hotel also big enough to host large groups for conventions or reunions. The pool and weightroom also top notch. Beds are comfortable with great suites and comfortable couches and chairs.
