"Another great stay at Sandos"

This was our second time at the Playacar location. We usually stay at Caracol and have been very happy there as well. Our daughter loves the kids club and the staff there are just lovely and take wonderful care of her. The food was very good except at the Mexican restaurant, oddly enough. The French, Brazilian, Asian and Gaucho restaurants were so good and the service is amazing. The entire staff goes out of their way to greet you and take care of all your needs. We just got back and are already looking forward to our next visit.

"Great resort in a great location"

We just returned from the Sandos Playacar april 16 and loved every minute of being there. We were travelling with our three kids and found that the resort had many activities to keep the kids busy. The thing we liked the most was having a little pool right outside our villa. The food was great and there was always something there to make everyone happy. The beach at this resort was by far the best beach we have been to in Mexico. This was our 5th visit to Mexico and my husband and I both agreed that the beach was stunning. There was no rocks, just beautiful white sand and warm water. There was great entertainment everynight and a neat games room that the kids liked to spend a fair bit of time in playing ping pong, checkers, air hockey etc. The Sandos is definitely a place for kids. If you are looking for something a little quiter a different resort may be better for you! The location was also fabulous. It was only a 5 minute $7 ride into the town of Playa del Carmen. The shopping there is great. I would definitely recommend this resort.

"Yoga"

I was at the Sandos beach playacar in Playa de Carma and they offered yoga in the pagoda looking at the Caribbean. The instructor was fabulous and the whole experience of doing yoga while looking at the beautiful turquoise waters was unbelievable.The resort is an all inclusive so it was part of the experience. I highly recommend you try this resort if you are planning on going to this area of Mexico. The vacation was wonderful....

"The best place"

There is only good things to say about Sandos Playacar. 5 Star Plus experience we were there for the March break week. Everything from the rooms, food, beach service, the surroundings were all top rate. We loved it so much we became Elite Members and will be returning year after year. Just Beautiful.

"Perfect holiday"

We had a fantastic family holiday in this hotel! We stayed for 2 weeks and I have to stay this was the best all-inclusive place we have ever been to (and we travel a lot!!). Spacious, clean room; extremely friendly staff; child-friendly environment - lots of native animals in the hotel's huge park; great food selection both in the buffet and the a la carte restaurants - everything was absolutely perfect. The hotel is right next to the beach and it has several large pool areas so it never got too crowded. Great entertainment every night and relatively close to the city center with shopping opportunity. I can absolutely recommend this place for both couples looking for some relaxed, romantic place and for families with children.

"7 days in paradise"

Definitely one of the most beautiful resorts I ever stayed in. Amazing food, good entertainment, friendly professional staff. All you need is here. Beach is fantastic. Clean rooms. Wonderful. Will go there again.

"Can hardley wait to go back"

One of the best all inclusive vacations we have been on. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. The food was fantastic especially since I was trying to make healthy choices. Lots of fish, shrimp, salmon and lots of veggies and fruits. The mojito was also a favorite!! We also made use of the fantastic gym and spa.

"Loved it!!"

We stayed in the Riveria adults section, and it was lovely. The room was excellent, the pool was great, and the pool bar staff were fantastic. We were the furthest away from the beach, but the walk was only 10 minutes and should not be a problem for most people! The restaurants were very good, the buffet was ok too, but we prefered to eat in the other restaurants, the Oriental restuarant was amazing, as was the french. The only problem we had in these was the red wine was served cold, and the staff did not realise that this was a problem for people who know and enjoy red wine - it should normally served room temperature The only thing I did not enjoy was the plastic glasses served in the main bar in the evening.

"Best honeymoon ever"

Me and my husband made the best decision by choosing Sandos Playacar Beach Resort and Spa. Our overall experience was great. The rooms were super clean and the staff was very friendly. In particular a young woman named Mirium Hurtado gave us a warm welcoming by showing us the hotel and recommending great places off of fifth avenue.There is a variety of restaurants and its all inclusive.Having a variety of activities was great because we kept ourselves busy every day. I would highly recommend Sandos Playacar for your next vacation:)
